Auxiliary Trainer

Stéphanie Etievant has been a nurse since 2004. She has worked in the sectors of psychiatry, psychogeriatrics and geriatrics, having held a position of Head of Day Care Center for the Elderly for 9 years. This is how she encountered the Montessori approach for dementia and ageing that she quickly integrated into her support. In 2018, she obtained the Montessori practitioner certification for aging and dementia with IFMM. Today she is Montessori AMI for Dementia and Ageing Auxiliary Trainer, coached by Anne Kelly. In order to better make the link between the approach for the child and that for the elderly, she followed the Montessori assistant training 3-6 years for which she obtained the certification in 2020. Stéphanie is also trained in the validation method, in the sensory cart (snoezelen), and holds a psychogeriatric support certificate. Stéphanie thus supports the elderly at home, taking into account the specific needs of the person with cognitive disorders and integrating the family caregiver.
