Sue has been an aged care manager for over 20 years. She has worked in three states and territories in a range of diverse and interesting aged care environments. Whilst an aged care manager in South Australia Sue was responsible for implementing the Capability Model based on the principles of Montessori in conjunction with an innovative award-winning rebuilding program focussing on the prepared environment. She also initiated and led the Bedtime to Breakfast project that is now a recognised program across the country. Prior to her work as a Montessori consultant she also managed a small rural Victorian facility which incorporated both acute and aged care beds. Sue has a passion for enabling and engaging people living with dementia, ensuring everybody has a reason to get out of bed each day.
